Takip ettigim cogu fotografcinin malzemesi olan kentler, nedense diger konulara gore cok ilgimi cekti ve boyle bir baslik altina hepsini topladim."around the city/kentin etrafinda" belki ileride baska konulara/yazilara da malzeme olacak gibi gorunuyor...hemen akabinde de Kavafis'in siiri aklima geldi!

Metro istasyonlari, caddelere dusen golgeler, siluetler, bir yerden bir yere gitme telasinda olan insanlar, insanciklar fotograf karelerine sigan goruntulerden bazilari...
Favorilere ekledigim fotograflardan bazilarini sectim ve paylasmak istedim.
Umarim begenirsiniz...

Does this city belong to us?
Is it really hard to leave the city?
If we leave it, does it haunt us?

The concept of city is one of the major themes of the photographers I watch in deviantart,and it always appealed me somehow related to other genres. So I decided to put these kind of photographs under a title “around the city”. And the poem of C.P.Cavafy “the city” has just come to my mind in accordance with this journal…
Metro stations, the silhouettes, the shadows on the streets, people who rush from one corner to another are displayed on photographs…
I wanted to share this selection from my favorites titled “around the city”…
I wish you like it…

Şehir
Bir başka ülkeye, bir başka denize giderim, dedin
bundan daha iyi bir başka şehir bulunur elbet.
Her çabam kaderin olumsuz bir yargısıyla karşı karşıya;
-bir ceset gibi- gömülü kalbim.
Aklım daha ne kadar kalacak bu çorak ülkede?
Yüzümü nereye çevirsem, nereye baksam,
kara yıkıntılarını görüyorum ömrümün,
boşuna bunca yıl tükettiğim bu ülkede.
